Jeff moved to Memphis in 2012 and has been a megaphone for the city ever since. He will be your guide from start to finish as well as your host extraordinaire, making sure your group is taken care of throughout your stay.
KEENAN LOWERY
City Leadership | Host
Born and raised in Memphis, Keenan Lowery currently serves as a City Leadership Alumni Coordinator. A 2018 Lane College Graduate, Keenan had a distinguished college career as an HBCU All-Star under the Obama administration and serving as SGA President at Lane College. Keenan provides Serve901 trips with deep knowledge of Memphis and civil rights history.
Our guides come from diverse backgrounds and share a joint commitment to creating meaningful connections between you and the Memphis community. We are here to ensure that every moment of your service trip is enriching, inspiring, and memorable.

Serve901 participants learn the mission of the organization and help in a specific way to aid the mission of the organization whether through mentoring, cleaning, construction, or the most menial tasks
We desire for each group to experience the Memphis where Memphians live, work, and serve in every day. We will meet locals, dine at local establishments, and serve in places that really matter to our community.
ENGAGE
We strive to have Memphis’ past, present, and future to be at the forefront of the Serve901 opportunity. Throughout the week, you’ll hear from local orators preaching Memphians impact and involvement in the fields of education equity, civil rights, and criminal justice reform.
LEARN
Serve901 partners with non-profit organizations, schools, community development, churches, etc. for service opportunities. The work may vary from group to group, but our heart is to support organizations that have served Memphis and will continue serving Memphis before, during, and after your group’s visit.
